VONK is an international supplier of electrical engineering solutions in the fields of Power Conversion, Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) and Control & Automation (C&A). VONK has a history of over 85 years and has made a name for itself in the energy and defence markets. We design, assemble and install electrical distribution stations, inverters and process control equipment for use in complex industrial installations.
VONK has a focus on the energy transition. For the promising electrolysis of hydrogen, VONK offers power conversion solutions with outputs at the Multi Megawatt level. For the oil and gas market, sustainable hybrid energy systems have been developed. VONK is a rapidly growing, independently operating organisation with around 80 permanent employees. Our head office is located in Zwolle with a workshop in Meppel and offices in the Middle and Far East. We like to engineer, test and build prototypes ourselves in the Netherlands; serial assembly normally takes place abroad.

Companies involved in the development of innovative membrane technology face many different questions. Is there a demand for the product? What are the market’s needs and expectations? How does performance compare to that of existing membranes? Can we improve performance using the resources at our disposal? EMI Twente helps companies to answer such questions. We bring the practical implementation of an idea a step closer – or often several steps closer.
Our work ranges from more fundamental questions such as why membranes for a given application fail prematurely to projects where we improve the stability of membranes. But also more industrial scale projects are part of EMI Twente, for example where we test (commercial) membranes in small pilot plants using industrial feed streams. As we are on the border of industry and academia an internship at the EMI Twente gives you the best of both worlds; research in close collaboration with academic research groups but also the practical and application-oriented approach of industrial research.

Toen je vanochtend gedoucht hebt en daarna schone kleren hebt aangetrokken ben je al in contact geweest met producten van KLK Kolb. De producten die door KLK Kolb geproduceerd worden zijn surfactants, oppervlakte actieve stoffen, die gebruikt worden in de productie van wasmiddelen, shampoos maar ook voor medicijnen of de productie van textiel.
KLK Kolb produceert behalve surfactants ook papier proces chemicaliën en andere chemische speciliteiten. Onze belangrijkste producten zijn vetalcohol ethoxylaten, fosfaat esters, alcohol sulfaten, ester quats, triglyceride ethoxylaten, sorbitan esters en andere chemikaliën die gebruikt worden voor emulsificatie, ontschuiming, solubilisatie, viscositeit-modificatie en -stabilisering.
Het bedrijf verwerkt natuurlijke en synthetische grondstoffen in hoogwaardige producten op 3 verschillende locaties in Zwitserland en Nederland. In totaal werken er ongeveer 480 mensen bij KLK Kolb.

UZIN UTZ maakt deel uit van de internationaal opererende, beursgenoteerde organisatie, Uzin Utz Group uit Duitsland. Net als Unipro een familiebedrijf, gekenmerkt door "Grundlichkeit" en een warme, persoonlijke bedrijfscultuur.
Bij UZIN UTZ in Haaksbergen vinden we duurzaamheid belangrijk. Dat is allereerst terug te vinden in ons assortiment en in onze verpakkingen. Daarnaast hebben wij bij de bouw van ons nieuwe bedrijfspand onze visie op duurzaamheid vertaald naar een praktische manier van bouwen en produceren. Hierdoor worden de meeste producten die door ons worden verkocht, geproduceerd in de "groenste" fabriek van Nederland.

Like Unipro, it is a family business characterized by "Grundlichkeit" and a warm, personal corporate culture. At UZIN UTZ in Haaksbergen, we consider sustainability important. This is primarily reflected in our product range and packaging. Additionally, in the construction of our new company building, we translated our vision of sustainability into a practical way of building and producing. As a result, most products sold by us are produced in the "greenest" factory in the Netherlands.
